Local Preschools

The CBS Early Childhood Centers are proud to serve the entire Philadelphia community with teachers who are trilingual, speaking Russian, Hebrew, and English. The CBS curriculum includes English writing and reading, math skills, science, Hebrew Language, and reading. Judaic studies, Jewish holidays, art, music, gymnastic and much more.

The Gan is dedicated to Jewish continuity and identity. We provide a positive, loving environment that combines excellent early childhood education and the spirit of Jewish tradition and culture. Gan Chabad provides an environment of acceptance and mutual respect among all children and adults in the learning environment.

Opened in 1985, Gutman Early Learning Center is located on 28.6 beautiful acres where children explore, play and learn. Playgrounds are designed for the specific needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Focused on instilling children with a love of learning, while preparing them for Kindergarten and beyond.

Opened in 1966, Paley Early Learning Center (ELC) is located on 7 acres abutting Pennypack Park  in Northeast Philadelphia. With a mix of independent and organized activities, education, and recreational opportunities, the program provides a multi-cultural curriculum reflecting the composition of the neighborhood, and offers experiences requiring investigation, exploration and discovery.

 

Elementary Schools

Abrams Hebrew Academy is a private Jewish day school in the Philadelphia area that offers a dual curriculum of secular and Judaic studies for students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

Caskey Torah Academy has been the linchpin of Torah education in Greater Philadelphia for over 50 years. They are committed to academic excellence and preparing the foundation for our students to mature as Torah-observant Jews and role models who are contributing members in Jewish and general society. We provide stimulating education for Jewish students with different learning styles and academic capability in a loving environment that promotes Ahavat Yisrael, Medinat Yisrael, and excellence in learning and in teaching.

Cheder Chabad of Philadelphia strives to provide academic excellence and positive character development through our merged curriculum of Judaic and general studies. Kohelet Yeshiva is a warm and embracing Modern Orthodox K-12 yeshiva school committed to cultivating Bnei and Bnot Torah who think critically and creatively while exuding confidence and compassion.

Politz Hebrew Academy, founded in 1982, is an Orthodox Jewish Day School servicing children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Located in Northeast Philadelphia we offer a dual comprehensive curriculum in Judaic and general studies.

Our Mission is to Empower Children to Excel in their Torah, Avodah, and Gemilus Chasadim by Learning to Learn, Do, and Become. We provide a whole person approach to education based upon each child’s strengths and interests.

Yeshiva Ketana of Philadelphia aims to develop well-rounded and thoughtful bnei Torah who have the skills and education to maximize their unique potential. Located in the heart of a city deeply connected to our mesorah, YKOP’s warm and nurturing environment facilitates each student’s growth to be a proud member of Klal Yisroel, while maintaining their own individualized relationship with Hashem and the Torah.

Many of the Philadelphia schools integrate with OROT. OROT seeks to include all Jewish children in the quest for a Jewish day school education, regardless of their particular challenges, which may include severe learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, developmental delays, behavioral disorders, brain injuries and ADHD.

KTA is an Orthodox Jewish Girls High School whose mission is to instill in our students a love of Torah, identification with the Jewish People and our mesorah, attachment to Israel and commitment to high standards of Torah observance and personal conduct.

The Mesivta High School of Greater Philadelphia is a Jewish Orthodox boys’ high school, educating students in grades 9-12 in Torah and secular disciplines. With dynamic rebbeim, thoroughly trained in the classic yeshiva-style text-based analytical learning, and general studies faculty, with years of experience teaching in some of the most prestigious high schools, the Mesivta’s instructional quality is second to none.

Kollel

Since its opening in 2018, the Northeast Kollel has been providing a much needed addition to the community’s spiritual infrastructure. We are fortunate to have Rav Yonah Burr, a renowned educator and scholar, as our Rosh Kollel.
